6.1

Motor spindle cleaning

When cleaning the motor spindle, leave the sealing air connected and the collet-chuck clamped with a cylindrical
pin. This protects the motor spindle from the ingress of dirt during cleaning. Clean the motor spindle with a fiber-
free cloth.
6.2

Cleaning cone and collet-chuck

After the motor spindle is cleaned, remove the collet-chuck from the motor spindle and clean the shaft cone and
the collet-chuck, e.g., with a brush.
6.3

Cleaning the nozzles for external tool cooling

Clean nozzle outlets with small brush as required.
6.4

Inspect the supply lines

Check the supply lines of the motor spindle. Media must be able to reach the motor spindle without hindrance.
The lines must not be bent or squashed. Check all lines for damage and double-check the supply media settings.
6.5

Maintenance intervals

Daily maintenance:

The indicated maintenance intervals are recommendations.
They may vary depending on processing or extent of contamination.

7 Service and repair

The motor spindle should only be repaired by SycoTec or a SycoTec authorized repair workshop.
Please contact SycoTec if you need repairs (after-sales@sycotec.eu).
We reserve the right to renew motor spindles in the course of a repair to the state of the art.
Ship motor spindle, if possible, in the original transport packaging

As well as inspection of the clamping system for damages, dirt and wear.
