only by qualified technical staff.
• The motor spindle and accessories must be checked for damage before commissioning.
• Changes made by third parties render the approval null and void.
• Use only SycoTec original parts.
• Any claim under warranty shall be excluded if defects or the consequences thereof are due to
manipulation or modifications to the product by the customer or by any third parties not authorized by
SycoTec.
Disposal of devices and accessories after use
Based on EU directive (WEEE 2012/19/EU) on waste electrical and electronic equipment, we hereby
inform you that this product is not subject to the aforementioned directive but may be disposed of
through special channels within Europe.
Caution! Hot surface
Hot surface warning
Overload or a lack of cooling can lead to very high temperatures.
EMC analyses must be carried out and evaluated in conjunction with the inverter within the unit.

Safety measures
Safe operation and protection of the motor spindle can only be assured if it is used as intended, in accordance with
the operating manual and in adherence to the following safety measures.
Tools
Tools must meet the requirements of chapter 5.2 Permitted tools.
Work safety and accident prevention rules
The safety precautions must be built into the machine.
The health and safety requirements in accordance with the EC Machinery Directive 2006/42/EG and the
individual country work safety and accident prevention regulations must be followed.
Maintenance and cleaning
The motor spindle must be cleaned regularly. Maintenance requirements must be followed.
Electric voltage
• In case of incorrect handling, there is a threat to life from the electric voltage.
• The protective measures used must be checked regularly and before operation.
• Dangerous voltage due to rotating rotor even when the inverter is switched off.

Intended use
The motor spindle can be used in machines for the following machining processes: Drilling, milling, engraving,
grinding.
Operation, maintenance and care of the motor spindle may only be performed by appropriately-trained
personnel.
