Wireless X-ray Detector Connection

Figure 15 shows the wireless connection of the X-ray detector installed in a professional
healthcare environment. The X-ray detector is connected using WLAN over a WLAN Access
Point with the Imaging Workstation. The WLAN Access Point may be wall or ceiling mounted to
maximize wireless signal strength. Make sure that the router is not connected directly to the
installed network. The detector can also be connected directly to the Imaging Workstation using
WLAN with the WAP mode of the detector (see Figure 16). Before imaging, make sure that the
battery pack charge is sufficient and the X-ray detector antenna is not obstructed.
