4.- COPY OF A KEY
This option is used to make a copy of a key when no information about it can be found (model, file, etc.). The key
reading process is based on electrical contact. It is therefore very important for the feeler and the key to both
be clean, with no burrs.
Follow the steps below:
1. Open the transparent protective shield.
2. Place the key to be copied in clamp MP1.
3. Move the feeler to the testing position by rotating the axis.
4. Open the menu and select the copy of a copy reading option. The depth (X) and lateral (Y) values can
be adjusted.

Once the key has been read,
1. Return the feeler to its initial position.
2. Remove the key that has been read and insert a key blank.
3. Close the transparent protective shield.
4. Select the read copy option.
(Please note: it is not possible to read anodised aluminium keys, plastic keys or keys made from other non-conductive
materials).
