Limited Five-Year Warranty
The warranty service on the Best Power UT3KB31W, UT3KB32W, UT3KB33W,
UT5KB52W and UT5KB53W UPS is element exchange. If the UPS becomes
inoperative, the entire unit will be replaced or serviced. The process for obtaining service
varies by country. The process for obtaining service is referenced in the United States
(U.S.), Canada (CAD), Asia-Pacific (AP), and Latin America Division (LAD) sections.
The UPS for this program are warranted by Best Power for five years in U.S., CAD, AP
and LAD. Warranty starts when the UPS is delivered to the customer. The core Best

Customer Process for Service

UNITED STATES (U.S.)
1. The customer calls 1-800-IBMSERV for IBM Field Services Support (FSS).
2. The customer indicates that the UPS is defective.
3. FSS will confirm that the unit is listed in the customer profile and will notify
Best Power.
4. Best Power will promptly call the customer and ask for the serial number. Best
Power will also attempt to determine the nature of the problem. The problem
may be related to improper operation as opposed to a defect.
5. If the unit requires repair, Best Power will dispatch a service technician to the
customer's site.
