CHASING WaterLinked DVL A50 Mounting Kit is a customized kit component that
facilitates CHASING M2, CHASING M2 PRO, and CHASING M2 PRO MAX ROVs in
carrying DVL devices. Components are used to link the DVL to the ROV. Easy to
install and convenient to use. DVL is an acoustic Doppler instrument similar to an
acoustic Doppler current profiler (ADCP). It can estimate the movement velocity and
direction of the ROVs precisely based on the measurements by the four sensors and
the time interval between each sound pulse. DVL supports underwater velocity
display and fixed-point location of the ROVs.

Installation and connection

1. As shown in the figure, fix the mounting base to the bottom of the device tail
using two M3 × 8mm screws.
2. Pull the DVL cable backward and insert the DVL into the mounting base ①. After
installation, fasten② from both sides using M3 × 8mm screws.
Note: DVL cables should be directed towards the rear of the ROV.

3. Connect the DVL cables to the device ports.
