Positioning
1.1 Inspection of the Installation Site
n Sufficient width / height of the passages / doors!
Width x depth x height with pallet (Measurements in
mm):

n The mounting surface at the installation site is even
and level and suitable for the relevant weight of the unit
(Weights see Chart in 1.3)!
n Do not install the unit next to flammable surfaces. The
local fire safety regulations must be adhered to!
n No hot grease (such as deep fat fryers or similar
devices) in the immediate vicinity of the hand shower!
1.2 Transport to the Installation Site
n Remove all cartons, packing material, documents,
stickers, etc. from the oven chamber!
n Remove all containers / trolleys from the oven
chamber!
n Transport on pallet only!

n Unit should be moved in an upright position only!
Observe advice given in regard to the
Tip-N-Tell (red) sticker!
1.3 Remove Unit from the Pallet
n Note the weight of the units:
CONVOTHERM OSC/OSP 6.10: 120 kg
CONVOTHERM OSC/OSP10.10: 170 kg
CONVOTHERM OSC/OSP10.20: 200 kg
CONVOTHERM OSC/OSP12.20: 300 kg
CONVOTHERM OSC/OSP20.10: 330 kg
CONVOTHERM OSC/OSP20.20: 400 kg

n Using a forklift, lift unit from the pallet. Don't tip! If
necessary, use a low lift platform truck for turning the unit
into the right position.
n Before picking the unit up with a high-lift truck or lift-
truck, it is necessary to pay attention to the correct
position of the lifting forks (keep to the left of the
condenser!)
n Transport of units without pallet:
stand units (use wooden spacers à • )
table units (Part-No.: carrying strap 3007089)
1.4 Installation of CONVOTHERM OSC / OSP 6.10 /
10.10 / 10.20
n Align the stand on the installation site so that it is level
n Note the minimum distance to neighboring units / walls
right, left, behind:
with optional disappearing door:16 cm to the right
distance from heat sources:
free airflow towards the top:
n No deep fat fryer or similar device in the immediate
vicinity of the hand shower. Attention! Danger! When
water sprays in hot grease!
n Air vents and safety pipes on top of the unit should be
left clear.
n Place the combination oven on the stand. The unit's
feet must be arrested by the stand's locating bolts.
n Adjust the height of the feet of the combination oven
using a water level so that the oven is level.
1.5 Installation of CONVOTHERM OSC / OSP 20.10
/ 20.20 / 12.20
n Adjust the height of the feet of the combination oven
using a water level so that the oven is level.
n Floor standing units install free from danger of tilting
n Note the minimum distance to neighboring units / walls:
right, left, behind:
with optional disappearing door:16 cm to the right
distance from heat sources:
free airflow towards the top:
n No deep fat fryer or similar device in the immediate
vicinity of the hand shower. Attention! Danger! When
water sprays in hot grease!
n Air vents and safety pipes on the unit lid must be kept
free.
n Kitchen floor in the area where the trolley stands must
be level and even (align if necessary).
