    NSTRUMENT OPERATION - Where applicable, connect a probe via the socket located at the top of the instrument. Switch the instrument on and apply the tip of the probe to the substance or medium to be measured. The instrument reading may take a few seconds to stabilise, depending on the nature of the measurement and sensitivity of the probe.

    REMPLACEMENT DES PILES - L'instrument affichera 'LO BAT' (piles faibles) pour avertir que les piles auront besoin d'être changées bientôt. L'instrument continue de mesurer avec précision mais, après avoir encore été utilisé, l’instrument affichera 'flat bat' (piles à plat) et s'éteindra. Remplacez les piles par trois piles AAA situées sous le couvercle arrière qui est maintenu en place par une seule vis.

    ANZEIGENBELEUCHTUNG - HOLD - Taste zwei Sekunden lang drücken. Hinweis: Die Anzeigenbeleuchtung arbeitet nicht, wenn 'LO BAT' angezeigt wird. ABGLEICH - Drücken Sie bei der Inbetriebnahme die MAX/MIN - und ON/OFF- Tasten für fünf Sekunden, um in diesen Modus zu schalten (Offset wird angezeigt). MAX/MIN lässt dann (in Endlosschleife) den Abgleichwert in 0,1º- Schritten bis zu ±2,0 ºC (3,6 ºF) durchlaufen.
