5.8.1

Fitting telescopic dome shaft on tank

The telescopic dome shaft allows infinite adjust-
ment of the system to given terrain surfaces. To
install the telescopic dome shaft on the system, the
profile seal ⑤ is fitted to the tank opening. The
profile seal (material EPDM) of the shaft dome is
rubbed in with plenty of soft soap (do not use lubri-
cants with a mineral oil base because they will
corrode the seal). The telescope is then greased,
slid in and aligned to the terrain surface.
5.8.2

Installation of extension sleeve and telescopic dome shaft

The profile seal ⑤ is fitted on the tank opening
and the extension sleeve ④ slid in up to its stop.
Before sliding in the extension sleeve, the seal
must be lubricated with soft soap.
The seal ③ is fitted in the extension sleeve and
the telescopic dome shaft ② is slid in.
5. Installation and assembly
If the pipework within the system collides with the telescope, the telescopic
dome shaft has to be shortened accordingly.
