4. J-Micron RAID Configurer
During the installation of the drivers, the J-Micron RAID Configurer is also installed on your
computer. With this software, you can create a software based RAID configuration of 2
connected eSATA hard disks.
Note: To create a RAID configuration, you need 2 eSATA hard disks.
Note: If you want to use your eSATA hard disks independently, of when you only have 1
eSATA hard disk, you do not need to use this software. You can skip this chapter.
Start the J-Micron RAID Configurer through the Start Menu.
The program window will be shown on your screen:

In this window, the following information will be shown:
1. Create a new RAID configuration with 2 new eSATA hard disks.
2. Shows the created RAID configuration (if available).
3. Shows the RAID information of the selected RAID configuration.
4. Shows the connected eSATA hard disks to the CSATA2EXC Controller card.
